Every Muslim around the world who longs for closeness to his Lord, of course really yearns to be able to perform the Hajj, or at least the Umrah pilgrimage.

So really lucky people who can carry out this last pillar of Islam because not everyone is given the opportunity and glory by Allah. to perform Hajj or Umrah.

In practice, this worship is not easy. There are many things that you need to prepare carefully and plan so that your worship is smooth and mabrur. For this reason, the following are some tips that can be used as a guide to successfully perform the Hajj or Umrah pilgrimage.

Looking for information

Before you leave for the holy land, the first thing you need to do is find as much information as possible about travel agents that provide good services for Hajj departures, hotels that suit your wishes and budget, the length of worship you have to undergo, weather conditions in the holy land, and other facilities related to your accommodation while in the holy land, then make a list so you don't forget.

Mental preparation

Before we perform worship to the holy land, it would be nice if you try to purify your heart from all mistakes and heart disease so far. This preparation is the main thing that must be done for a prospective Hajj.

Intention to worship solely for the sake of hoping for the pleasure of Allah. This preparation will be useful when we follow the whole series of worship that does require patience, sincerity, and trust in Allah Ta'ala.

Physical preparation

At the time of performing the pilgrimage or umrah, the physical condition is absolute to be considered. There will be a series of activities that you must carry out, not to mention the different weather conditions. If your body condition is strong, God willing, you will be able to pass all activities during the Hajj or Umrah pilgrimage. Physical preparation can include:

Eat fruit and drink as much water as possible to avoid dehydration. Also avoid drinks such as tea and coffee. If necessary, you can also take vitamins.

Exercising sufficiently to train for a more fit body. Also, make sure you get vaccinated to avoid meningitis, a dangerous disease that attacks the lining of the brain and can lead to death.

Make sure you get enough sleep during the flight.

Preparation costs

This is certainly a preparation that is no less important. Make sure you prepare riyal denominations in fractions, such as 1 riyal, 5 riyals, or 10 riyals. This you will need as money for member tips.

Also make sure you have taken into account your pocket money for shopping for souvenirs and so on because of course this activity is included in your empty schedule when you are in Mecca.

Logistical preparation

Logistical preparation includes the need for items such as the following:

Bring only enough clothes, not too many.

Facial moisturizer, lotion, and lip moisturizer. This is to overcome the skin from dryness due to the weather there.

First aid kits, such as eucalyptus oil, plasters, stomach aches, and so on. Do not forget to prepare medicine, if you have certain diseases.

Also complete your equipment with a tote bag or backpack. You will feel the benefits of this bag when doing a series of worship while in the holy land.

Don't forget to bring a religious book or a prayer and remembrance book.

A small but important thing is to bring a drink bottle that has a strap to sling over your shoulder or neck. This bottle is useful for carrying zam-zam water so you don't get thirsty.

Be careful and stay alert while you are there. Crime can happen anywhere and in any form.

Therefore, you should not travel alone while there. Bring some friends if you want to go somewhere. In the holy land there are many thieves who are always ready to take possessions when you are off guard!

Finally, I hope you can actually make better preparations and return to your homeland safely and have a Mabrur Hajj!
