Prayer Prayer is a form of worship for Muslims. In addition to obligatory prayers, there are also sunnah prayers, for example dhuha. Then, what is the Duha prayer like?

Sustenance Must Be Seeked

As we know, sustenance does not just fall from the sky, but must be sought. How do I find it? Yes, by working hard. But sustenance is not enough by working, but also must be supported by prayer.

All affairs will be smooth if accompanied by prayer and by His power. Therefore, working hard is good, but don't forget our obligation to worship.

For Muslims, praying 5 times a day is an obligatory worship. It means that if you do it you will get a reward and if you don't you will get a sin. Once you leave prayer, the sin is very big.

And it's true, if praying 5 times a day can open the way of sustenance. But if you want to get more sustenance, worship must also be more. For example, by performing sunnah prayers.

There are various sunnah prayers, one example is the Duha prayer. Duha prayer can be regarded as one of the effective worship as a sustenance attractor or sustenance opener.

Duha prayer

Duha prayer is a sunnah prayer performed by a Muslim when it is time for dhuha. When is dhuha time? Duha time begins when the sun rises approximately 7 cubits from sunrise (approximately 7 am). The time limit for dhuha is to enter the time of dzuhur.

Is the dhuha prayer the same as the obligatory prayer? The number of rak'ahs for the dhuha prayer is a minimum of 2 rak'ahs and a maximum of 12 rak'ahs. Every 2 rakats, one greeting.

The Law of Duha Prayer

Before getting to know the Duha prayer further, we must first know the law. As previously mentioned, the dhuha prayer is a type of worship that is sunnah.

Then, what is the meaning of the sunnah law? Sunnah is that if you do it you will get a reward, but if you don't do it it is not a sin. So if you don't do it, no problem.

If the obligatory prayer is better done in congregation, it is different with the dhuha prayer. Duha prayer is basically a prayer that is done munfarid (alone).

Surahs that are used during the Duha prayer Basically, the readings used in the Duha prayer are free. However, there are some surahs that are best read during the dhuha prayer. Among them are Surah Al-Waqiah, Surah Ad-Dhuha, Surah Al-Kafirun, Surah Al-Ikhlas, Surah Asy-Shams, and Surah Quraish.

However, among these surahs, the surah that is most sung when performing the Duha prayer in the first rak'ah is Surah Asy-Shams. Then in the second rak'ah recite Surah Ad-Dhuha.

If the number of rak'ahs is more than two, every first rak'ah is used to read Surah Al-Ikhlas. Meanwhile, every rak'ah both of them are sunnah to read Surah Al-Ikhlas.

Prayer Duha Prayer

Every worship, must say a prayer, as well as when praying Duha. In the dhuha prayer there is also a prayer that is said.

Basically, when you finish praying dhuha, you can use any prayer. There was once a prophet who even after the dhuha prayer made istigfar and then continued by reading another prayer, it was permissible.

But among the many prayers, the prayer that is most often used after the dhuha prayer is:

"Allahumma innad dhuha-a dhuha-uka, wal baha-a baha-uka, wal jamala jamaluka, wal quwwata quwwaatuka, wal qudrota qudrotuka, wal ismata ismatuka. Allahumma in kana rizqi fis sama-I fa-anzilhu, wa in kana fil ardi fa akhrijhu, wa in kaana muassaroon fa yassirhu, wa in kana haroman fathohirhu, wa in kana baidan faqoribhu bihaqqi dhuha-ika, wa jamalika-ika, wa jamalika , wa quwwatika, wa qudrotika, atini or ibadakas solihin."

Benefits of Duha Prayer

The benefits or benefits of this Duha prayer are very large. For anyone who takes the time to pray dhuha, Allah will expand everything, especially sustenance.

In addition, Duha prayer is also beneficial for health. What are the benefits? Based on research, dhuha prayer is able to strengthen muscles and tendons. This is because, the movement is regular, so it strengthens the joints and has a tremendous effect on the cardiovascular system.

In addition, dhuha prayer is also useful for preventing stress in carrying out daily routines. This is because, with the dhuha prayer, it will release endorphins and enkafalin substances that eliminate tension.

Even the reward for the dhuha prayer is the same as the one who gives charity every day. So, if you are unable to give charity directly, replace it with dhuha prayer.

Another benefit, anyone who performs the dhuha prayer as much as 12 rakaat, Allah promises the palace of heaven for him. Who would refuse if the palace of heaven was built? Everyone will.

Then, for anyone who performs the two sunnah prayers continuously, God willing, all his sins will be forgiven. Even if his sin exceeds the breadth of the oceans on this earth. Subhan Allah.

As we know, everything that happens in this world has been ordained by the Almighty. Even so, it does not mean that we just surrender to everything that happens, but must try to get the best, for example in terms of sustenance.

Sustenance has been arranged by Allah swt. If indeed the sustenance obtained is not sufficient for daily needs, maybe this is a sign that you have to work even harder. Maybe you work hard, but forget to pray.

Other Worship

Actually there are other worship that we can do to make things easier, either for worldly or ukhrowi affairs. What's that? One of them is by praying tahajjud.

Yes, apart from praying dhuha, tahajjud also has many benefits. But broadly speaking, the benefit of praying tahajjud is to facilitate all affairs. Even in a hadith it is stated that whoever performs the tahajjud prayer, his prayer will be granted.

The tahajjud prayer is one of the sunnah prayers. If you do it you will get a reward, and if you leave it, you will not get a sin. The tahajjud prayer is almost the same as the dhuha prayer.

The difference between tahajjud and dhuha prayers lies in the intention, prayer, and time. If the dhuha prayer is done after dawn between 7 and 9 o'clock, while the tahajjud prayer is done at midnight.

Its implementation at midnight, which makes the tahajjud prayer very useful. How not, when others are sleeping soundly and even dreaming, we even wake up and perform the tahajjud prayer. You

already know how abundant the benefits of the sunnah prayer are. Want to get the benefits? Come on, make it a habit to pray dhuha every day, worship as well as save charity for the hereafter.

So, sustenance is not expected, but sought. How do I find it? Yes, of course, by working hard. Even if you have worked hard but have not been able to meet your daily needs, pray to Allah.

Whatever the problem, whatever the trial, everything must have a way. And the best solution provider is Allah swt. So if there is a problem, ask the Almighty for guidance so that it is easy to get through the ordeal.

Thus a review of the tahajjud prayer and its benefits. Hopefully the reviews presented are useful for readers.
