The Wisdom of Ramadan Fasting - During the month of Ramadan like this we always think about what wisdom we can get after struggling with fasting all day.

Here are 10 wisdoms of Ramadan fasting:

1. The month of Ramadan is the month of training yourself for the discipline of time. In thirty days we are trained to be disciplined like soldiers, when we wake up, when we eat, when we hold our prayers, when we break our fast, when we pray tarawih, iktikaf, read the Qur'an we do according to the time.

Isn't that the discipline of time in its name? Yes we are trained with great discipline, unless people do not want to participate in this training.

2. The month of Ramadan is a month that shows human beings to be balanced in life. In the month of Ramadan we are eager to increase the deeds of worship, and the deeds of circumcision. It means that we refrain from a monotonous job and neglect to worship Him.

People who are negligent in remembering God, are always busy with their work, so that lunch breaks, prayers, and meals are often neglected. Or the time that should be used to worship God is used to have lunch with a lover.

Prayer? stay. In the month of Ramadan we are taught to live a balanced life, between work, and Ibadah. Work for the sake of the world and Worship for the sake of the Hereafter.

3. The month of Ramadan is a month that teaches people the importance of brotherhood, and friendship. In the family of people who do not understand the meaning of brotherhood. The brotherhood in the family is not very close, siblings quarrel, Mom and Dad sometimes do not pay attention to each other.

Brotherhood from Gangster, there were also many fights. Brotherhood over one group, one nation, one homeland, only slogans and names, has little meaning. In Islam there is a brotherhood of fellow Muslims, it will be clear if it is in the month of Ramadan, People give tajil for the opening of the fast for free.

Praying together in the mosque, giving Islamic knowledge and a lot of Islamic knowledge in every religious talk and discussion held in the mosque. Everything is free of charge. Fellow Muslims shook hands with each other, chatted and asked each other for news.

Both tarawih tadarus prayers by teaching each other the Qur'an, and a lot of alms food in the mosque. Yes, of course it's free. The brotherhood of fellow Muslims actually has special lessons and chapters, there are Qur'anic verses about brotherhood, there are many hadiths of the Prophet, but people rarely notice how important the meaning of brotherhood is. But in the month of Ramadan it will appear by itself.

4. The month of Ramadan teaches to care for others who are weak. In the month of Ramadan we fast, feel hungry and thirsty, reminding us how sad the plight of the homeless, the homeless, the orphans who have no parents, the poor who live in unworthy places.

Don't we feel concerned? So much so that we care to help our hungry brothers and sisters. Either due to economic conditions, or due to natural disasters. God mocks people who do not care about the fate of others who are poor as liars of the Religion.

Also, Allah speaks of people who do not care about the fate of the poor and orphans as people who do not use their sensory potential to see the situation around them. People who do not care about others are also referred to as people who misjudge or view life.

5. The month of Ramadan teaches the purpose of every action in life. In the month of fasting we are required to be earnest in worship, set the intention that also contains the purpose of why he fasted. The purpose of fasting is to train ourselves to avoid sins on other days outside the month of Ramadan.

If the goal is achieved then fasting is successful. But if the goal fails then fasting means nothing. So we are accustomed to purpose -oriented in doing all kinds of acts of worship.

6. The month of Ramadan teaches us that this life must always have the value of worship. Every step of the foot to the mosque of worship, helping people of worship, doing justice to people of worship, smiling at the brothers of worship, throwing thorns in the path of worship, until the sleep of people fasting worship, so that everything can be made worship.

Until we get used to living in worship. That means everything can be worth worshiping.

7. The month of Ramadan trains us to always be careful in every deed, especially that which contains sin. In the month of Ramadan we fast. We resist hunger and thirst. Not only that. But also withhold everything that can invalidate the fast, also everything that can break the fast.

Especially things that can lead to sin. So that in the month of Ramadan we can be accustomed and trained to avoid our sins so that we are always clean from deeds that can cause sin. This exercise brings positive progress for us if outside the month of Ramadan we can also avoid things that can cause sin such as gossiping, saying dirty things, lying, looking at things that can cause sin, and so on.

8. The month of Ramadan trains us to always persevere in various obstacles and obstacles. In Fasting in the month of Ramadan we are accustomed to withholding bad deeds. For example, anger, bad thoughts, and recommended the nature of Patience over all the actions of others to us.

Suppose someone slanders us, or maybe slanders us, but we remain Patient because we are in a state of Fasting. With Patience Satan's incitement to escalate the conflict failed. We are the winners of Satan's temptations. The problem of people gossiping, slandering, let it be their sins, let us not sin with the sins of others.

9. The month of Ramadan teaches us the meaning of living frugally and simply. Every day we buy cakes and drinks for breaking fast. From the many cakes and drinks we buy. Only a glass of our own homemade tea is drunk.

Many others were left behind and some were wasted the next day. This makes us realize that what we buy a lot before breaking the fast, is just lust. All we need is a glass of sweet tea! Why do we have to buy so many drinks and cakes that we end up not eating? This makes us realize how much we have to save, buy only what is needed. The extra money we have may be able to donate to those in greater need.

10. The month of Ramadan teaches us the importance of our gratitude, for the blessings given to us. Our gratitude for the blessings of food that we have felt when we fast. We feel hungry, but we still have food. What about a person who feels hungry but not because he is also fasting, but because he does not have food?

We are sick, we can take medicine when it is open, but what about the person who has no medicine, when he is sick? We are good, when we fast feel hungry and thirsty, we procrastinate by watching television or other things like the internet.

What about people when they are hungry and thirsty they delay their hunger and thirst by working to meet the demands of their employer? Not because he did not have a television or internet, but because of the demands of life, which required him to work to eat today and the day when he did not work. Shouldn't we be grateful for the favors that have been given to us?
